The African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, held at Lagos’ Eko Hotel on May 11, 2024, brought together top actors, directors, and filmmakers from across the continent, including the duo.
Ahead of presenting awards, TiwaSavage playfully interacted with Toke Makinwa, with a clip showing Tiwa dancing exuberantly, reminiscent of her celebratory mood after the success of her movie “Water and Garri” on Prime Video.
Toke Makinwa, reacting to Tiwa’s dance, jokingly commented, “Tiwa, my friend, what are you wearing?” to which Tiwa responded with a playful jab about Toke’s height, sparking laughter.
