Tiwa Savage stirs reactions as she is about to gift herself a designer bag worth N147M
Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently shared a picture of treating herself to a designer bag, which sparked several reactions online.
In a recent tweet ahead of her birthday, mother-of-one Tiwa Savage considers spending merely N147 million ($147,000) on a fancy handbag.
This occurred just a few weeks after Tiwa Savage made news for purchasing an opulent property in London valued at N1.7 billion.
On February 5th, 2024, Tiwa Savage, the “All Over” hitmaker whose musical prowess put the nation on the globe, will turn 44 years old.
Tiwa Savage posted a picture of the designer bag in a Whatsapp conversation with a friend that was published via her Snapchat stories. She asked her friend if she should get it or not for her birthday.
Tiwa Savage wrote; “Should I or not. I meannnn my birthday is in a couple weeks.”

The Tiwa Savage post caused a stir, as was to be expected. Some people thought the price was excessive and questioned whether Nigeria’s problems would be solved by the designer bag, while others claimed she deserved it because she had fought so hard for over ten years to break into the Nigerian music industry.
