Nigerian Songbird, Tiwa Savage has revealed that she wouldn’t like her son to do music.
In an interview with legendary hip-hop radio personality Angie Martinez on Power 105.1, Tiwa Savage revealed why she wouldn’t want her son, Jamil Balogun to do music.
According to her, she doesn’t want her son to follow in her footsteps as a musician because fame has a dark side and she doesn’t want him to go through it.
“Apart from the music and being able to touch people, there is a dark side to being in the limelight, and it comes with it and you deal with it, and I don’t want him to go through that.”
In the interview, she also revealed that she was blackmailed by an unknown person with a s*x tape.
Although she said the video is not a s*x tape, the singer did reveal that it was an intimate moment between her and her new partner.
“I’m not going to call it a sex tape but it’s a video of me and the person I’m dating right now. And it got out,” the singer said.
“It’s recent, maybe like last month.”

The 41-year-old revealed that the person is asking for money, but she insists that she does not want to pay.
“I’m not going to allow anyone to blackmail me for doing something that is natural. This is an intimate moment with someone I’m dating,”
In this interview, she revealed that she has started seeing someone recently.
“He’s someone I care about a lot; it’s like a month. He’s a sweet guy; he’s very supportive”
Despite her refusal to share any specifics about him, Tiwa Savage said that her new lover is not in the entertainment industry.
She also spoke on how she is dealing with the loss of her friend, Obama DMW and her father who all passed away few weeks from each other.
