Nigerian Singer, Tiwa Savage made a startling revelation of how she almost took her own life while in high school due to being bullied.
Tiwa Savage had sat down with Ebuka on an episode of The Black Box Interview where she opened up about intimate issues and her journey in Music.
During the conversation, she revealed the terrible experienced she had while in high school when she moved to London.
She said that she was bullied for the color of her skin, her African Accent, and her food. Her head would be dunked into toilets during lunch breaks by her bullies.
She said all these events led to her being depressed and almost caused her to kill herself twice. She also had to have a police escort sometimes because her bullies would also physically assault her on the bus on the way home.

She said that as result she wanted to bleach so she could look lighter and also tried to grow her hair out.
She revealed that the bullying went on for three to four years.
