Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade are arguably the biggest Nigerian female artists and both are among the biggest female African artists as well, holding it down for almost a decade.
Now in the industry, just like Wizkid and Davido feud, both have had their differences in the past and to date, the fans are still at war, it’s normal and very healthy for their career to keep them relevant in music conversations.
However, there is little or no reason to compare them but because in one way or the other, the comparison is needed to evaluate the artistic importance of their effort and styles, hence why they will continue to be on the same conversation, the fans, on the other hand, makes the comparison more fun as they dig into their career stats to bant each other on social media, using different metrics.
Tiwa Savage on its mixed African and modern fusion, is somewhat regarded as one of the most versatile female artists, with her great vocals to effortlessly blend both elements, the unlimited creative concept helps to keep her floating and seamlessly find a balance to any features either African or modern style, her album is not limited to a particular geographical region.
