Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Timi Dakolo, recently celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Busola Dakolo.

The 43-year-old music star expressed profound gratitude for his wife and the remarkable journey they have shared together thus far.
It is noteworthy that Timi, originally from Bayelsa, tied the knot with his sweetheart from Kogi in 2012. The couple has been blessed with three children: Alexander, Zoe Ateni, and Hallel Dakolo.
In his anniversary message to Busola, shared on the image-sharing app, Timi wrote, “12 Years already, Thank you for managing me Busola Dakolo.”

Timi Dakolo believes everyone should experience hardship at some point in their lives since it helps to mold who they are.
The musician shared his opinions with famous media personality Chude Jideonwo on the most recent edition of the podcast With Chude, comparing a person’s suffering to fertilizer for a plant.
He said, “Everybody should go through a certain level of pain because it purifies the soul. It’s like fertiliser. If you have not experienced a certain level of pain, there are certain things you can never know.
“You know how the Bible says, ‘And he came to himself, the prodigal son.’ It was not the time he was enjoying the money. It was when it was finished, and he was eating pig food.”
