Timaya shares his side of the story after he was arrested for a hit and run incident.
Timaya Inetimi has spoken out following his alleged arrest and hit-and-run accusation.
On Thursday, the Dem Mama singer declared on his Twitter page that he had no ill will toward anyone.
“Me no get no bad mind for nobody,” Timaya tweeted.
This comes shortly after viral videos emerged on Thursday, showing the singer being carted away by men in police uniforms.
In another video, the singer was explaining to the policemen while making gestures to the car parked outside the building.
Though the reason for the arrest has not been made known to the public, the videos emerged a day after the singer was accused of hitting a lady in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The music star sharing his side of the story explained on his Instagram that he didn’t hit the lady in question.
Rather, he said he only hit the bumper of her car and was open to fixing it until he saw she was in the company of four suspicious-looking guys.
Their look, he said, was what made him run away.

According to him: “When I got back yesterday, I told my people to go back to the hospital to get things under control. So I went to the husband’s house early this morning; they already made a police statement and all that.
“I didn’t even expect it would be like that or whatever. I wanted her number because it was just a bumper issue, the pain I feel she felt was even more than the car or whatever came on.
“How I go hit person run you know? How much is her treatment? It’s not about that it’s beyond money. It’s the act, why I go run when I saw four guys coming towards my car I gats stick out.
“And again, what I was even avoiding was coming down putting me on social media and I still went on social media las las but it’s all good mehn.
“I’m only here because they say I do hit and run, I’m not that guy, I can’t hit nobody and run.”
Confirming his side of the story, an Instagram user simply identified as Emolsmoji, who was at the scene, said Timaya asked her to call him so he could fix the car but she declined.
Rather, he said the woman held his mirror, ranting that he was going nowhere, adding that she was in the company of some guys that looked suspicious.
