Afrofusion sensation, Buju has explained how he and Timaya made their track.
Nigerian singer, Buju has given a detailed explanation of how he and Timaya made their hit track, ‘Cold Outside‘.
A fan on Twitter with the username @_ahmaaad_ had earlier enquired of the singer how both artistes thought of doing a song together.
He wrote; “How did Buju and Timaya think of doing a collabo. It’s mad sha.
In response to this, Buju narrated that the producer of their collaboration, Yung Willis reached out to him saying Timaya wanted to see him.
He explained that when he went over to Timaya’s lounge, Timaya shared how he reminded him of the late Juice Wrld and how he’s the best singer.
Furthering their connection, he was invited to the Dem Mama’s boss house of which he was served pepper soup and started singing.
He wrote; “Willis called and said Timaya wanted to see me, I went to see him at a lounge he was at and he said I’m his favorite artiste atm since I remind him of juice world lol. We went to his house afterward, he give me some bomb ass pepper soup and I just started singing.”

Timaya released Cold Outside featuring Buju on the 14th of October, 2021 and so far the music video has spawned over 6 million views on YouTube.
