‘Thunder fire you’ – Nigerian Muslim boy and girl blast Davido over his refusal to tender apology
The situation surrounding Davido and the controversial music video of his signee, Logos Olori, continues to escalate as a video on social media shows two Muslim teenagers raining heavy curses on the singer for his refusal to issue a public apology.
The teenagers express their anger at Davido for promoting a music video that they believe goes against the principles of the Islamic religion. Despite Davido removing the music video from his social media pages due to the backlash, the Muslim community insisted on a public apology. In response, they were seen burning a banner with Davido’s image.
In the call-out video, the Muslim boy and girl accuse Davido of disrespecting Islam and accuse him of seeking attention by releasing such a controversial video. They invoke the wrath of God on him and pray for him to be struck by thunder as they demand an apology from the singer. The situation appears to be tense, with strong sentiments from the Muslim community directed towards Davido.
