“This is dehumanizing”—Mr. Macaroni tackles Davido for allowing his aide Lati to assault two fans who wanted to make a video with him (Video)
In a recent social media post, popular Nigerian comedian Mr. Macaroni took aim at Davido for allowing his aide, Lati, to allegedly assault two fans who simply wanted to take a video with the singer.
Davido has been under scrutiny online after a video surfaced showing his aide, Lati, striking a fan who attempted to take pictures with the singer at an event.
The enthusiastic fan, overwhelmed by seeing Davido, approached him, only to be met with a forceful punch from Lati, initiating a sequence of events.
Another video also surfaced online where Lati sparked reactions online as he landed a heavy slap on another male fan who tried to reach Davido’s side.

In response to the videos, Mr. Macaroni expressed his dismay, describing the actions of Davido and his aide Lati as sad and dehumanizing. He emphasized that such assaults were unnecessary.
Furthermore, Mr. Macaroni urged fans to always seek permission from Davido or any other celebrities before approaching them for a picture, emphasizing the importance of respecting their personal space and boundaries.
He wrote; “This is sad and highly condemnable!!! There is absolutely no need for this assault. This is dehumanizing and I speak against it because I know exactly how this feels. The change that we all seek must begin with us!!!.”
He added; “Please, if you must take pictures with any of your favorite celebrity, kindly seek permission so that you are not seen as a threat. Respect is reciprocal. We must respect the privacy of our celebrities and Celebrities must also learn to treat our fans with respect and dignity.”
