The Headies award nominations for 2022 are now open, the Headies is Nigeria’s most prestigious and prestigious music award.
The coveted award’s 15th edition is set to take place in the United States.
The year-in-review for the 15th Headies award nominations is October 2020 to December 2021. The major category nominees for the 2022 award are mentioned below.
First and foremost let us congratulate the nominee of the most prestigious Nigerian music award, from the highest nominations, Wizkid bagged 10 nominations, Tems bagged 9 and Ayra Starr bagged 8 nominations.

The uncommon highlight was Portable bagging two nominations and Ckay being snubbed in the award ceremony was too obvious, lets’s leave Love Nwantiti and talk about Boyfriend EP, as they might claim the year in review not being in favour of Love Nwantiti.
Talented hit singer, C Kay recently released his long-awaited debut studio Extended Playlist which he titled, Boyfriend EP.
This EP was released on the 12th of February, 2021 and it is now trending in the Nigerian Music Industry as one of the Latest and Outstanding EPs of the year.
At least, Ckay should’ve bagged a nomination in the next rated category to complement his massive global run in the Nigerian music industry.
Also, Zinoleesky should have more than one nomination, man had the industry on chokehold for the year in review with hit songs.
