Davido dishes out magnetic stage performance at the 21st ‘Warri Again’ after missing last year event
Afrobeats superstar Davido made a triumphant return to the “Warri Again” concert series on October 5, 2024, after missing the event the previous year due to organizational issues.
Held at the Brownhill Coliseum in Delta State, the concert was highly anticipated, and Davido’s high-energy performance thrilled fans, leaving them eager for more.
Before the concert, Davido visited the Olu of Warri’s palace, where he addressed his well-known conflict with Amaju Pinnick, the event’s organizer.
Interestingly, Pinnick was also present during the visit. Davido didn’t shy away from discussing their past tensions, recalling how they had clashed and exchanged heated words.
Despite the intensity of their disagreement, Davido shared how they were able to reconcile.
Reflecting on the situation, Davido explained that at the height of the dispute, he took a step back to consider the legacy of his family—the Adeleke name, which has always been associated with grace, dignity, and responsibility. This reflection helped guide his decision to mend the relationship with Pinnick.
Davido arrived at the Olu’s palace with his entourage, including his music crew, popular socialite Cubana Chiefpriest, rapper Phyno, and comedian AY, as a sign of respect ahead of the “Warri Again” concert.
His presence and performance marked a successful return to the stage, reinforcing his strong connection with the Delta State audience.
