Nigerian artist Davido has expressed profound gratitude to legendary Grammy Award winner Angelique Kidjo following the success of their collaborative track, “Joy.”

The “Unavailable” singer shared that he has always idolized Kidjo, having grown up listening to her music. He expressed deep appreciation for the 64-year-old music legend’s unwavering support, noting that she has always been there for him whenever he needed her.

In his words, Davido said, “I used to come to Cotonou, Benin, I grew up listening to your music. Thank you for all you do for me and my colleagues like Stonebwoy.”
