Popular music video director TG Omori took to Instagram to appeal to God for a successful kidney transplant and healing.
On Thursday, August 29, 2024, he shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram story, simply writing “Dear God,” as he continues his battle with kidney disease.
This comes after he posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, reassuring fans of his recovery. In the post, he wrote, “Will be up soon. I promise!”

In other news, TG Omori provided an update on the kidney transplant he recently underwent in a Nigerian hospital, seeking prayers from the public.
The renowned music video director, who has been relatively quiet and produced fewer videos recently, revealed that he had been battling health issues, specifically kidney failure, for the past year. TG Omori shared that his brother generously donated a kidney to him.
However, in a recent update on his social media page, TG Omori, affectionately known as the “Boy Director,” disclosed that the transplant was unsuccessful.
He urged the public to pray for him during these challenging times.
He wrote:
One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at st Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.
