    Popular music video director, TG Omori, recently recalled an incident that occurred a few months ago when a man turned down his monetary gift.

    In April, a video went viral, capturing the moment when Omori was approached by a group of young men as he was about to get into his car. He wanted to encourage them by offering some cash.

    As he sat in his car, TG Omori handed a 1,000 Naira note to the most vocal among the group, but the young man rejected it, protesting that it was just 1,000 Naira. In response, the filmmaker took back the money, gave the guy an irritated look, and closed his car door.

    When the guy’s friend asked him why he refused the money, he explained that he intended the 1,000 Naira to be shared among all of them, and it wasn’t worth it.


    However, in a recent discussion online, TG Omori clarified that it was the guy who initially asked him for money. He usually gives money to the security guards working in the neighborhood where his father lives whenever he visits. On that particular day, as he was about to leave, a group of young boys approached him.

    Having already given the money he had to the security guards, TG Omori asked his driver if there was any money available. The driver brought out 1,000 Naira, which he offered to the young guys. However, they rejected it, prompting him to keep the money and leave.

    Taking to Twitter, the videographer wrote;Β β€œThis video again 😭 no evidence but I go explain. On this faithful day I go see my papa, on very rare occasions have I ever seen boys on the street just the security guys at the entrance gate so I Dey always carry their cash as I Dey enter I Dey press am for them.

    After I don visit papa finish make I Dey go na so I see like 3 boys for outside Dey hail me. Obviously na the security guys don tell them to come collect their own share, I hail them back, them say I must give them money, ok no an issue I ask my driver make him check weda cash still dey, him check round and him see 1K, I tell the boy say no cash for my hand make them use 1k boy coke. Omo Baba reject am o. Say make I enjoy. I kuku go use am enjoy.”
