TG Omori reveals Blaqbonez is trying to use him to prosper
Veteran music producer ThankGod Jesam Omori popularly known as TG Omori has put forward the claim that Hip Hop artist Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, is using their online feud as a strategy to maintain relevance in the music industry.
The video producer has noted that Blaqbonez’s career has experienced a significant boost since their exchanges of banter began.
Initially, the relationship between the two was amicable, but it soured when Blaqbonez expressed dissatisfaction with the fee Omori quoted for directing the music video for his hit track ‘Back In Uni‘. This led Blaqbonez to shoot the video himself.
In a conversation on the Zero Conditions podcast, Omori shared that he is fine with Blaqbonez’s playful interactions on social media, as long as they remain within respectful boundaries.
He said;“Blaqbonez is just trying to use me to prosper. And he is my guy, so I will let him shine. ‘Emeka must shine.’
“Blaqbonez’s biggest video was the TG Omori’s banter; ‘Back In Uni.’ Everybody was trying to watch the video because he added TG. If you can’t afford TG Omori, you use TG Omori’s name.
“It’s understandable. He is my guy; not like we hang out or something. But so long as he has not been disrespectful to me, let the young n*gga shine. His career has gone up since the whole banter thing, I told him to give me 10%. But I would let it slide because we rise by lifting others.”
