Renowned artist Terry G has openly disclosed the reasons behind the decline of his music career, pointing fingers at his former management team for their alleged deceitful actions.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, January 28, 2024, he accused his former management team of overbooking him without his availability, refusing to refund show promoters for missed events, and causing damage to his brand.
Expressing remorse in the conclusion of his statement, Terry G extended an apology to the show promoters who were negatively impacted by the actions of his erstwhile management team.
Addressing the issue, he admitted to working with a team that created a false narrative about him, accepting bookings without his consent, and leading to misunderstandings. The artist acknowledged his humanity and used the platform to make amends for the disruptions caused.
He wrote, “To all show promoters. I worked with a dubious team (managers) which created a false narrative about me they accepted bookings without me the blame on me without my knowledge. I am only but human and I use this platform to apologize for all that I’m happy to clear this out as it has been reasons why y’all haven’t been hearing or seeing terry g. Thank you. Terry G.”
In a follow-up post, Terry G confirmed the resolution of issues with DJs across the country, stating that the ban imposed on him has been lifted since 2020. He shared this update to inform those who may not have been aware of the development and asserted that he is no longer banned by the DJ association.
“To all deejays. I have been cleared from the ban I had years ago I have settled. I’m putting this out for the great ones who haven’t heard the information since 2020 to know that I’m no longer banned by the DJ association. Terry G,” concluded.
