Terry Apala speaks on Wizkid’s effect on ‘Apala Disco’
Nigerian Afrobeats, hip-hop, and Apala musician Terry Alexandar Ejeh, popularly known as Terry Apala, has shared insights on the significant impact of collaborating with Wizkid on their song. Terry Apala described the verse contributed by Wizkid as “priceless,” highlighting its immense value to the project.
The Neo-Apala singer, who was featured alongside Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Wizkid and street-hop sensation Seyi Vibez on DJ Tunez’s star-studded track “Apala Disco,” emphasized the importance of the collaboration during an interview with ace media personality Quincy Jonze on Echo Room.
He stated that the influence of Wizkid on the remix brought a promotional value that he estimated to be worth more than 100 million naira.
Terry Apala also expressed that working with Wizkid was a dream come true and credited the collaboration with exposing him to a global audience.
He praised the role of Wizkid’s fanbase, known as Wizkid FC, in boosting his career since the release of the remix. Additionally, Terry discussed his journey as an artist, his upcoming album, and the importance of staying true to his original sound.
