Starboy Terri receives warm welcome as he visits Wizkid’s old hood, Surulere.
Starboy Terri has unannouncedly visited Shitta, Surulere in Lagos state, the previous neighbourhood of his boss, Wizkid.
Wizkid was born and raised in Shitta, and his songs reflect his upbringing, something he has never shied away from discussing.
Residents gave Terri, who is contracted to Starboy Entertainment, a warm welcome and were delighted to see him and take selfies. He, on the other hand, did not go with Big Wiz.
A few years ago the Ojuelegba crooner also paid a visit to Shitta and residents trooped out in hundreds to see him.
He was in the country after having a tour with US rapper, Future, so he used the opportunity to visit the hood he grew up.
The Baruwa Eleniyan popularly known as the “King of Surulere also welcomed him together with fans.

It has been recorded upon records for Big Wiz and Tems with the hit song ‘Essence’ as it was confirmed that a new record had been set on the Billboard chart.
Billboard confirmed Wizkid and Tems’ ‘Essence’ had set a new and unrivalled chart record in an official announcement on Friday, August 12, 2022.
‘Essence’ became the first and the only song to spend a year in the top 10 of the Billboard R&B/ Hip Hop airplay chart.
