Renowned American former tennis player, Serena Williams, has joyfully announced the birth of her second child with her husband, Alexis Ohanian.
The tennis legend, aged 41, shared the delightful news of the arrival of her baby girl, Adira River Ohanian, with her 16.9 million followers on her official Instagram page.
This marks the second time Serena Williams has become a mother. In 2017, she gave birth to her first child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, through an emergency C-section. Serena’s contributions to the world of tennis and her achievements on the court have left an indelible mark on the sport, making her not only a sports icon but also an inspiration to many.
Photos and video also emerged from her husband’s Instagram page and he captioned, “Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama,” he wrote. “Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift—you’re the GMOAT.”
