In other news, Teni has revealed that she learned how to speak the Yoruba language from YouTube. Despite her parents being Yoruba, the 31-year-old singer shared that she acquired the language skill by watching Yoruba movies on YouTube.
During a recent episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, Teni disclosed that she was in the United States of America at the time she taught herself Yoruba through online videos.
She humorously added, “Do you know how I learnt to speak Yoruba? It was when I went to America. I learnt it from YouTube. I was watching Yoruba films like mad.”
