Nigerian Songbird, Teniola Apata, better known as her stage name Teni, has recently joined the bandwagon of celebrities who are soliciting money through their social media pages.
Following Davido’s enormous birthday fundraising, Teni resorted to social media yesterday to name the celebrities that she wants to send her money.
Many people were taken aback on Wednesday when Davido’s account was credited with almost N70 million just hours after he revealed his account details.
Davido’s account currently contains over N180 million after two days of fundraising.
A lot of Nigerian celebrities decided to follow in Davido’s footsteps by taking to their social media page to also beg their friends, fans and loved ones for money.

Most of these celebrities dropped their account numbers for account credit from fans.
Teni has also joined the begging frenzy, posting a demand for N250,000 from her fellow singers on her Instagram page.
Teni called on her friends Tiwa Savage, Tems, Ayra Starr, Tope Alabi, and Yemi Alade.
She pleaded with them in a video to credit her account with N250,000 in honour of her forthcoming birthday.
She wrote,
“December 23rd still far oh, na why I wan start my own today. Make I no go hear Sey!!!!!!! Because Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Hmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!! Oyah oyah oyah oyah”.
