Teni Proclaims Her Dominance On ‘Tears Of The Sun’ Album.
Nigerian singer Teni the entertainer exercises dominance as an independent artiste in her latest body of work, Tears Of The Sun.
Tears of The Sun is a diverse compilation of sixteen captivating tunes that showcase the artist’s intellectual competence and promises to transport listeners on an immersive auditory, emotional, inspirational, and fun-filled experience.
The divergence in sounds and core display of versatility in each track is proof of Teni’s growth and consistency. Her intention, as revealed on her social media page is to assert her status as a young black girl from Africa who is self-sufficient in her doings and the project explicitly captures each moment of that journey.
Together with fellow musicians Made Kuti, Tayc, and Odumodublvck—who has been making waves with his features—Teni skillfully combines a variety of sounds ranging from pop, Amapiano, and funk to create a harmonious fusion of talent throughout the album.
Released via Platoon, the body of work follows her 2021 debut album Wondaland.
