Nigerian award-winning artist Tems showcased her kindness and generosity recently.
While strolling through Times Square in Manhattan, NY, on Tuesday (May 21), the “Free Mind” songstress encountered a performer named Creed B Good. Moved by his talent, Tems gifted the young boy a $100 bill, prompting an enthusiastic reaction from him.
Grateful for her gesture, Creed B Good embraced Tems and exclaimed into the mic, “I got $100!” After another hug from the artist, he continued his live rendition of “Blue” from his recent project, BAD.
Expressing his gratitude on Instagram the next morning (May 22), Good wrote, “Thank you, [Tems]. You were so warm and cozy. I love your song [‘Higher’]; it’s so good. Also, I’m NOT going to spend the $100. I’m going to frame it until we meet again when I’m big like you and pass it to another kid with big dreams.” Tems’ act of kindness left a lasting impact on the aspiring artist, inspiring him to pay it forward in the future.
