Tems set to headline Billboard’s The Stage concert 2025
Nigerian music sensation Tems has been officially announced as the headliner for Billboard’s The Stage concert in 2025.
Billboard confirmed in a statement that the Grammy-winning singer will take center stage at The Stage 2025, marking the concert series’ expansion from its SXSW roots in Austin to a debut event at SXSW London. Scheduled for June 5, 2025, the highly anticipated showcase will take place at the historic Troxy in Shoreditch, London.
Mike Van, president of Billboard, expressed excitement about the event, stating:
“We’re thrilled to bring one of Billboard’s flagship concert experiences to the inaugural SXSW London, featuring the extraordinary talent of Tems. She embodies the spirit of innovation and discovery that defines SXSW, and we’re proud to connect fans with world-class artists in such a dynamic setting. This event will be a celebration of music, culture, and creativity, and we can’t wait to deliver an unforgettable experience in London’s vibrant atmosphere.”
This London edition follows the return of The Stage to SXSW Austin earlier in 2025, where artists like Koe Wetzel, Grupo Frontera, and John Summit will perform from March 13 to 15 at the Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park.
