Nigerian award-winning singer and performer, Tems, shared her excitement on social media in reaction to the Grammy Award nominations received by Ayra Starr and Tyla.
Both Ayra Starr and Tyla were confirmed as first-time nominees by the Recording Academy for the 66th edition of the Grammy Awards, specifically in the newly introduced category of Best African Music Performance. Ayra Starr received the nomination for her hit song “Rush,” while Tyla earned recognition for her viral song “Water.”
Tems, who secured her fifth nomination for her writing contribution to the theme song for Marvel’s Black Panther 2, took to her social media platform to celebrate Ayra Starr and Tyla.
