Nigerian singer, Tems has bagged her first BET nomination for the Viewers Choice: Best New International Category.
This information was unveiled by BET Awards organizers shared via their official Instagram and Twitter pages on Monday, the 7th of June 2021.
They posted a photo of Tems in a nominee frame and wrote;

Tems herself shared the post on her Instagram story and thanked her fans for making it happen. She said,

On her Twitter page, she wrote, “So Crazy, incredibly honoured”
The Singer was nominated alongside other International artists like Arlo parks (UK), Bree Runway(UK), Bramsito (France), Elaine (South Africa), MC Dricka (Brazil), Ronisia (France).
It could be recalled that last week, Burna Boy and Wizkid were nominated for the Best International Act Category.
This year’s BET Award ceremony is looking like it’s going to have its own fair share of African representation.
