Grammy-winning Nigerian songstress Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has captured hearts across social media after rewarding a loyal fan with ₦3 million for creating a jaw-dropping crochet portrait in her honour.
The fan, Odum Ifeoluwa, shared her intricate handiwork on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that the detailed crochet tapestry, her very first attempt at tapestry work, was a labour of love, marking one year since she began crocheting.
According to Ifeoluwa, the portrait took 70 hours and exactly 8,925 stitches to complete.
In her post, the visibly proud fan expressed hope that the Love Me Jeje crooner would see the tribute, writing:
