Tems features on Rolling Stone’s Best Songs of 2024 list.
Following her UK charts debut, Tems has another reason to celebrate, having dominated the global chart with her song making Rolling Stone’s 2024 list.
Her soulful single “Love Me JeJe” has been named one of the best songs of 2024 by Rolling Stone magazine.
The song, released in April as the lead single from her debut album “Born in the Wild,” has garnered significant acclaim.
“Love Me JeJe” interpolates Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 hit of the same name and features a cameo from Sodimu in the music video, which Tems self-directed as a loving homage to her hometown of Lagos.
This recognition by Rolling Stone adds to the growing appeal of “Born in the Wild,” with Tems being the only African artist featured on the list this year.
