The Global Music Star category sees the Nigerian compete against formidable powerhouses in the international music scene.

She is up against Adele, the best-selling music artist in the United Kingdom; Camilo, a Latino fan favourite; Tones and I, an Australian singer and record producer; BTS, an Asian boy band; Rosalía, a European superstar; and Olivia Rodrigo, a North American sweetheart.

The “Crazy Tin” crooner was also nominated for the African Star award alongside Focalistic, Major League DJz, Makhadzi, and Pitso Mosimane.
