This marks the first time Tems has charted in the UK, setting a new record for the highest peak for a Nigerian female artist on this chart.

Released on June 7, 2024, the album features 18 tracks, including singles like “Love Me JeJe” and “Me & U,” and collaborations with prominent artists such as J. Cole and Asake. The album has been met with widespread acclaim and has quickly gained global momentum, reaching #1 in 22 countries on Apple Music just two days after its release. This success underscores Tems’ international appeal and her ability to captivate audiences worldwide with her unique sound.

The singles “Love Me JeJe” and “Me & U” had already achieved notable success on various Billboard charts before the album’s release. Additionally, the album’s title track and “Love Me JeJe” were performed on The Tonight Show in May, further boosting its visibility and anticipation.

Tems is also gearing up for her “Born in the Wild World Tour,” which will take her to numerous locations across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. The tour kicks off on June 12 and will feature special guests Naomi Sharon and Lekan, promising an exciting live experience for her fans around the globe.
