Tems Makes History As Highest Charting Nigerian Female Artist On Billboard 200
Nigerian artist Tems has made history by becoming the highest-charting Nigerian female artist on the Billboard 200.
Her debut album, “Born in the Wild,” has reached the 56th position on the Billboard 200, the US chart for top albums.
According to a report by Chart Data on X, Tems has achieved the highest placement ever by a Nigerian female artist on this chart.

Tems joins a prestigious list of Nigerian artists who have made their mark on the Billboard 200, including Rema, Sunny Ade, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake, and Ayra Starr.
Recall, Tems began her globe tour following the publication of her debut album ‘Born In The Wild‘, stunning audiences with a dazzling performance during a concert in France.
Her second tour stop featured Tems headlining at L’Olympia in Paris on June 15th, 2024, where she enthralled the audience with a selection of singles, including tracks from her recently dropped album.
