Tekno Teases New Album With Studio Photo.
Nigerian singer and songwriter Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno has declared that a new album would be released soon. The record, which has not yet been given an official title, is anticipated to be released soon.
The singer is about to release a new project despite having slowed down the frequency of his releases in recent years.
With his hit song “Pana” becoming one of the most popular songs in the digital era of Nigerian music, Tekno’s music has contributed to the commercial boom of Nigerian music.
Tekno’s followers have been ecstatic over the news of his new album. Since the release of the singer’s most recent album, “Old Romance,” in 2020, they have been impatiently expecting new music from him.
Tekno only dropped one track in 2023, titled “Freetown,” in February. His collaboration with Kizz Daniel on the song “Buga,” which became one of the biggest African singles to be released that year, helped him achieve enormous commercial success in 2022.
He is among the most well-known and prosperous musicians in Nigeria. He has received various honours, including the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Male Artist in 2018 and the Headies Award for Best Pop Single in 2017.
His songs are renowned for their captivating melodies and upbeat rhythms. He has worked with some of the most well-known musicians from Africa, including Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
Tekno’s fans will undoubtedly love his new album. Pop, dancehall, and Afrobeat are likely to all be present. Collaborations with some of the greatest stars in African music are also anticipated for the album.
On May 23, 2023, Tekno posted the news to his social media platforms. He posted a picture of himself at the recording studio along with the message, “Album done.”
Tekno hasn’t yet disclosed the name or release date of his new album, but fans may anticipate it this year.
