Tekno announces upcoming sophomore album ‘The More, The Better’
Nigerian artist Augustine Miles Kelechi, more widely known as Tekno, is gearing up for the release of his second album, titled ‘The More, The Better.’
Tekno, who has enjoyed a successful decade in the music industry by consistently delighting listeners with his impressive singles, is now preparing to unveil his sophomore album. This release marks a continuation of his musical journey.
The award-winning artist has officially scheduled September 1, 2023, as the album’s launch date. The album, titled “The More, The Better,” follows the success of his recent hit track, “Peppermint.”
Fans can look forward to both the recently released song “Peppermint” and his earlier hit, “Peace of Mind,” being included on this upcoming album.
‘The More, The Better’ comes three years after Tekno’s debut album, ‘Old Romance,’ which introduced the chart-topping single ‘Enjoy.’
With this sophomore album, Tekno aims to take his audience on a nostalgic journey and reaffirm that he is still the hitmaker who once had fans eagerly anticipating his releases.
Additionally, the singer recently revealed to Afrobeats Intelligence that he faced a challenging period when he lost his voice for nine months due to acid reflux. He also went through a demanding label agreement that hindered his artistic pursuits.
