The rapper was allegedly stabbed 14 times by another inmate inside a prison housing unit, according to a statement released by his team on Instagram.

The shocking incident left Lanez with seven stab wounds to his back, four to his torso, two to the back of his head, and one on the left side of his face.

Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing machine. Fortunately, he is now breathing unaided and steadily regaining strength.

The statement read:

“Tory was stabbed 14 times including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face. Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus. He is now breathing on his own.”

According to TMZ, prison staff rushed to the scene, performed immediate first aid, and called emergency responders. Lanez was transported to a hospital outside the prison for advanced medical treatment.

Fans breathed a sigh of relief after hearing that he is pulling through. Despite the severity of his injuries, sources close to him say he remains in good spirits, is speaking normally, and feels grateful to God for surviving the ordeal. He has also expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support and prayers from his fans.

As of now, the motive behind the stabbing remains unclear. Prison authorities have not yet released details about the attacker or whether any charges have been filed.

Nigerian singer, Abbey Toyyib Elias, popularly known as Skiibii, has set the record straight by revealing that he has never asked any artist for features, dispelling the misconception that he begged Davido to collaborate on his song.

According to Skiibii, it was actually the DMW boss, Davido, who reached out to him via Instagram DM to express interest in jumping on the remix of Skiibii’s hit song, “Baddest Boy.” This revelation was made during an interview with Kim Oprah on Hip TV’s “Trending.”

Skiibii further emphasized that he has never requested features from any of his fellow artists. He discussed his collaborations with Kizz Daniel and Reekado Banks, explaining the reasons that led to his decision to work with them.

Furthermore, he disclosed that Canadian rapper Tory Lanez expressed interest in being featured in one of his songs and that he did not initiate contact with the international star. On September 25, 2023, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez broke his peace and provided followers with an update from North Kern State Prison in Delano, California, via an Instagram voice message.

The singer was first held in a county jail after he was sentenced to 10 years in August for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

Lanez stated, “Ayo, Umbrellas, man. What’s good? I’m talking to you live from prison right now. Man, I’m just happy to get out from that bulls**t county jail. They was hating on a young fly n**ga, ya heard? Had me on 24-hour lockdown. Half-sized cell by myself. No windows, no mirrors. N**ga ain’t even seen himself in a whole year, yo.”

Following a Page Six article that claimed Lanez was “scared for his life” in prison, the Toronto native made an audio announcement. According to a person who spoke with the publication, “He feels like he is an instant and direct target because of his celebrity status.”

Lanez seemingly countered those claims. He said, “With all them disadvantages against me, my head has always been held high, man. And I want y’all to know I’m in great spirits. My drive and my ambition is growing stronger and stronger every day, and I’m so proud of how y’all been moving in my support. Man, I feel like this a scary time, but don’t be afraid, man. This don’t spark no fear in my heart at all. In fact, I’m more prepared than ever. The music, the videos, and all the projects you wanted, they all ready to drop.”

The musician also said that his 2021 album Alone at Prom would have a deluxe version. The first album’s debut position on the Billboard 200 list was No. 59, and it produced songs like “Lady of Namek” and “‘87 Stingray.”

Even as he begins a ten-year jail sentence, Lanez’s new message seems to be intended to keep his fan base motivated and interested.

On Friday, just hours after Tory Lanez was convicted guilty of shooting the “Savage” rapper, the British vocalist responded to the verdict during her “Weekends With Adele” residency in Las Vegas.

She started out by bringing up a viral mashup of Megan performing dance moves to her hit song “Body,” which had been altered to make it appear as though she was dancing to Adele’s song “Water Under the Bridge.”

The 15-time Grammy winner then appeared to address Megan’s court victory. “Well today, tonight, I would like to wish Meg the Stallion a very, very merry, merry Christmas!” she said as the crowd cheered.

Tory was found guilty of shooting Megan in 2020 by a Los Angeles jury on Friday.

A jury in Los Angeles found rapper Tory Lanez guilty of three felonies in the shooting of hip-hop singer Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, which left her wounded and with bullet fragments in her foot.

The jury deliberated for one day before convicting Daystar Peterson, 30, of assault with a semiautomatic pistol, possessing a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and firing a firearm with gross negligence. The charges could result in up to 22 years in jail.

Megan Thee Stallion, earlier testified that she was shot in the feet after leaving a pool party.

Reports revealed, Lanez showed no reaction as the verdict was read out. He was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on 27 January.

It was not immediately known whether he planned to appeal.

After the jury left the courtroom, Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, leapt up and began shouting: “This wicked system stands judged before God almighty!” He then pointed to the two prosecutors in the case and yelled “You two are evil, wicked people. You know exactly what you did.”

Deputies removed him from the courtroom, where he continued to shout in the hallway.

Ex-bodyguard for Megan Thee Stallion is apparently missing but recently captured still having a good time in Qatar.

In Los Angeles Justin Edison, a former bodyguard for Megan Thee Stallion has been active on social media despite claims by the rapper’s attorney that he disappeared before even being expected to testify in the shooting trial of Tory Lanez.

Media Check Out was informed on Sunday by a source close to Edison that Justin had been employed as personal protection (for a very important person) and was now in Qatar while (the person he is protecting) was at the World Cup.

It’s also reported that he “plans to continue with his security gig, until the VIP he’s protecting is back home, safe and sound.”

The source stated that Edison probably won’t come back to the US until at least Thursday, December 22. Sadly, the trial will be over by then, according to a reporter

The reports backed Edison’s most recent Instagram post, which you can find at @justwatchprotection. The security guard disclosed that he has been employed by the Qatar World Cup in Qatar for the previous few weeks in the post from December 2.

In one of the pictures he uploaded online, Edison was posed in an Ahmad bin Ali Stadium audience seat 

“Closing out the year protecting clients over the next few weeks of the World Cup. Another country stamp, God is Good #blessed,” he captioned the post.

It’s significant to observe that Edison was discovered liking a friend’s Instagram post just before Meg’s attorney Alex Spiro told the media that the Houston Hottie’s ex-bodyguard had disappeared.

On Saturday, Megan’s lawyer Alex told The Shade Room: “We recently learnt that Justin Edison went missing right before he was scheduled to appear in court.”

He as well added: “The LAPD is currently looking into his disappearance, and welcome any information about his whereabouts.”

In the meantime, the LAPD told TMZ that Edison is not the subject of a missing person investigation.

One of the important witnesses is Edison since, according to the prosecution, it was him who Megan’s ex-BFF and former assistant, Kelsey Nicole Harris, texted “Help” and “Tory shot Meg. 911” on the night of the shooting in July.

This wasn’t the first time a crucial witness in the shooting case from July 2020 skipped the courtroom. Detective Ryan Stogner of the Los Angeles Police Department, who is a “key witness,” had “relieved of duty” earlier this month.

The trial over the shooting incident began on Monday, December 12.

If found guilty on all three felony counts, Lanez could spend up to 23 years in prison.

Monday in Los Angeles saw the start of the opening arguments in the trial of rapper Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.

If Lanez, whose true name is Daystar Peterson, is found guilty on all three of the felony counts with which he is currently accused, he would serve more than 22 years in jail.

According to Los Angeles County prosecutors Kathy Ta and Alexander Bott, Lanez is accused of shooting the rapper, whose true name is Megan Pete, during a dispute that started inside a car in the Hollywood Hills.

In relation to three distinct felony counts, including assault and carrying a hidden weapon inside a moving vehicle, Peterson has entered a not-guilty plea.

“Jealousy, this case is about jealousy,” Mgdesyan told jurors during his opening statement on Monday.

The conflict between the rappers started more than two years ago when Pete was there when Peterson was detained for possessing a hidden firearm in the middle of July 2020.

Following weeks of rumours, Pete claimed that Peterson had shot her on Instagram Live on August 20. Both artists used their music and social media to share their sides of the story during the incident, which led to a conflict that mainly played out online.

According to social media posts and lyrics on his September 2020 album, Peterson has maintained his innocence, accused Pete of lying about getting shot, and alleged that her Roc Nation management staff was attempting to frame him.

In a tweet, Peterson made the suggestion that the argument was the result of an intimate relationship he had with the rapper and one of her friends.

In a prominent interview with Gayle King as well as other times, Pete has adamantly denied ever having a romantic relationship with Peterson. Prosecutors, though, claim Pete would testify that the two rappers were intimate at some point.

In response to those who have questioned her account of events, Pete has frequently fired back on social media, including other rappers and hip-hop media figures. Pete has blasted those she perceives as being hypocritical for speaking out against police violence against Black women while remaining silent or acting hostilely toward her.

“After a party, I was shot twice as I walked away from him,” she wrote in an October 2020 New York Times opinion piece. “Even as a victim, I have been met with skepticism and judgment.

The way people have publicly questioned and debated whether I played a role in my own violent assault proves that my fears about discussing what happened were, unfortunately, warranted.”

After online rumours of a recent altercation between the two entertainers arose, August Alsina is now claiming that Tory Lanez assaulted him.

August uploaded a picture of himself in an elevator with what appeared to be blood on his chin. August Alsina posted a series of photos of the injuries he said he sustained after Tory Lanez reportedly sucker attacked him in Chicago.

A hole can be seen in August’s lower lip in the first picture. His forearm has a gash visible in the second image in the collection.

Multiple scabs can be observed on August’s knee in the third photo. The last image reveals blood dripping from his mouth.

He provided a detailed account of his side of the incident in the post’s description.

He captioned the post with a lengthy explanation of his side of what occurred.

“As I’m exiting the building after the show last night, A 4’11 sized leprechaun ran down on me w/ 8 oversized security nigxas, whom I greeted each individually upon their walk up as they tried to press me,” the caption starts. “Whole time, I’m one deep. No security. Tory continues to ask w/ a broken ego why I didn’t dap him up, I go on to tell him.. I was a fan of him and didn’t understand him speaking on my business publicly In the past, because I don’t know him or ever met him until last night. So when he spoke it caught me off guard because of his past actions, i assumed he didn’t like me, that’s all. Not to mention, with my history of health & condition just recently overcoming being paralyzed, my doctor directed me not to compromise my health while out on road and shake as less hands as possible due to corona, & monkeypox.”

August Alsina goes on to accuse Tory of being in a cocaine-fueled rage and claims he was sucker punched by Tory, who then hid behind his security.

“Never any disrespectful words were exchanged, so i was a bit confused at how somehow he turnt him self up w/ anger after hitting a blunt laced with cocaine obviously, (i heard the fizzle) and he snuck me when I turned my head to move to the side amongst all his antsy moving and to keep an eye on the endless niggas that was w/ him surrounding me,” August continues.

“Which was security and some nigxa with a gun tucked… whom he then proceeded to run behind and hide to run back in the building. There was never a ‘fight’! Simply an Assault. Dude has no real friends, and is on a crash out mission. With that said, I was gone keep it G & not come to the net, but you moving with foul intent feeding falsities to blogs to look for a ‘moment’ cus them moments ain’t happening on stage for u. The Canadian singer dubbed Brown the King of Pop of his generation while giving his “Feels” collaborator a unique necklace designed in the style of Michael Jackson.

The necklace, which was created by Imperial Jewelers, has a picture of Chris and the phrase “King of Pop” printed underneath it. He wrote a list of his accolades, such as Grammys, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, and American Music Awards, on the back.

Tory, in addition to flaunting the ice neckwear on social media, paid gratitude to Breezy for sticking by him even when others deserted him.
