• Davido thrills crowd at billionaire Chief Rasaq Okoya’s 85th birthday bash

On January 12, 2025, Nigerian music sensation Davido delivered an unforgettable performance at the 85th birthday celebration of billionaire businessman Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya in Lagos.

The exclusive event, which brought together Nigeria’s crème de la crème, saw Davido captivating the audience with his chart-topping hits, sending waves of excitement through the venue. The crowd, which included Okoya’s close family and several distinguished guests, could not resist joining in the fun, dancing to every beat.

A particularly memorable moment occurred when Okoya’s sons and wife, Shade, stepped onto the dance floor alongside the music superstar, making for an iconic scene that added an extra layer of charm to the festivities.

The luxurious event attracted some of the most prominent figures in Nigeria, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and media mogul Dele Momodu. Other notable guests, such as billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu, further highlighted the high-profile nature of the celebration.

Additionally, the evening’s guest list featured a variety of celebrities, including Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and her partner, Paulo, adding a touch of glamour to the already star-studded occasion.
