The DMW frontline performer and owner, who has three studio albums under his belt, is getting ready to drop his fourth, which will undoubtedly feature some of the most talented artists.

In a recent interview that has gone viral online, the DMW Label founder praised producers of note including Shizzi, Kiddominant, Pheelz, and Spax.

According to Davido, Pheelz collaborated with him more on the record than any other producer.

Pheelz was the producer behind the album’s first single, “Stand Strong” which featured Sunday Service Choir.

OBO, who earlier promised to release new music in March after taking a break following the unfortunate death of his son Ifeanyi, is indeed set to make a grand comeback.

The international executive committee of the awards released the list in a statement on Wednesday.

Burna Boy, Fireboy, Ckay, and Tiwa Savage all snagged four nominations including the ‘Artiste of the Year’ category.

Costa Titch, the South African musician, and Dadju, the Congolese singer, led the chart with six nominations each.

In a statement, the organisers said the public voting portal for the award will be opened on September 25 and close on December 10.

According to the statement, the award ceremony will begin on December 8 with the main ceremony billed for December 11. The statement said a special announcement will be made on the host country and location for the awards on September 30.

Angela Martins, head of culture at the African Union Commission, said this year’s edition again demonstrates the award’s commitment to promoting African artists.

Samklef played a major role on the production of Wizkid’s “Superstar” album that was released under Banky W’s EME Label in 2010.

Years later, all three have gone their separate ways but samklef seems to have some grudges left with both Wizkid and Banky W.

In the past, Samklef used to call out Wizkid for sidelining him but Wizzy must have resolved issues with him as the producer stopped calling him out on social media except on occasional fights with Wizkd FC.

Orbeat called Burna out on social media for disrespecting him with the act, and the singer responded in kind.

Burna insisted that Orbeat should have contacted him directly rather than taking the problem to social media, and chastised him for pursuing his money.

Timaya vs K Solo

Timaya and K-Solo, one of his veteran producers, duked it out online over who discovered Patoranking.

K-Solo chastised Timaya for claiming to have signed Patoranking, revealing that he was the one who discovered the young singer and that Timaya merely met him at his Ebute Metta studio.

During a conversation with Naijaloaded, he made the startling disclosure.

The drama between Shizzi and his Manager, Efe is opening up more cans of worms as Singer, Tiwa Savage has hinted at also having the same issue with Efe.

Shizzi had filthily dragged him in a series of posts on his Instagram page and narrative, accusing him of holding him captive in his label.

He described him as the epitome of a heartless human being and explained how, as a result of him, he has been caught in a Sony music pub deal for the past six years.

He claims that the man has done nothing to advance his career and is now attempting to rob him and his family of everything they own.

Shizzi said that he signed an old MDRC contract unwittingly because of him and that he never allowed them the chance to hire an attorney to thoroughly check the document in 2016 because of his nefarious schemes.

According to Shizzi, after realizing Efe’s plans, he demanded a termination of the contract which can only be approved by Efe.

“Efe is the epitome of a heartless human being! I’ve been stuck in the worst sonymusicpub deal for 6 years because of him!
