The Nigerian-renowned musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, known by his stage name 2Baba, has warned trolls to stay away from his wife, Annie Idibia, amidst a supposed marital scandal.

The singer described this set of people as online bullies.

Recall, Annie Idibia was said to have unfollowed him on his Instagram account, which Annie denied, blaming the outcome on a “glitch” on Instagram’s part.

Hours after that, another speculation arose that she was yet at loggerheads with her husband’s baby mama Pero.

Netizens of course did not take it easy on the actress as they called her names and said she was the one at fault.

Rising to her defence, 2Baba told them to back off.

He wrote: “Una can like to read nonsense meaning to everything
Can’t somebody feel free again”

Expressing himself in pidgin the singer added: “You all are wont to bullying people on social media and I do not understand.

“You all should just leave my wife alone please, leave her alone.”

Annie Idibia has denied deliberating unfollowing her husband, Innocent Idibia aka 2Baba, on Instagram.

It was previously claimed that Annie unfollowed 2Baba just hours after he and his baby mama posted images of him bonding with their children in the United States.

Annie responded to the news by stating that it is false and that the rumoured IG unfollowing was caused by a glitch on the video-sharing platform.

She then called out bloggers for spreading ‘bad’ news capable of destroying a relationship.

Clearing the air, she wrote on her Instagram story, “Jesu ooo. Na so una like bad news tire! Na wa o. Simple Instagram glitch, una don create story. Nigerian bloggers, I hail!

“Make una no dey let innocent lovers of a guy and I mind jump o!”

She noted that the Instagram glitch had also reduced the number of her followers.

The mother of two also posted a video with the caption;

”Serious Trash ????Lol Mbok oooo Ahhhh ! Bloggers y’all r real vibes mannnnnnn, I salute Una ooo But hey #annieidibiatrending everywhere already lol.”

The Nigerian actress and businesswoman were said to have thrown a subtle jab at her husband later.

The rumours of a rift between Annie and 2Baba come two months after Annie had announced the renewal of their marital vows to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.

The intimate ceremony was aired on the reality TV Show, Rich, Famous and African, which starred Annie and other popular African stars.

This is coming days after 2Baba has tattooed the names of all his 7 kids on his arm.

The proud father of seven, who is now in America with his three children, which he shares with Pero Osaiyemi Adeniyi, took some time to express his love for them.

The singer expressed his love for his 7 kids by getting his arm tattoed with their first name.

The iconic musician, who recently cried when visiting the cemetery of his late friend and vocalist Sound Sultan, shared a video in which he requested God to protect all of his children.

In the caption, 2Face listed out all the names of his children and asked God to protect them all.

The award-winning singer is currently in the United States spending time with his three kids which he shares with Pero.

In the Nigerian Music Industry, it’s no longer uncommon to see artists involved in baby Mama dramas.

In fact, there was a period when it became a norm for an artist who have a child outside to be involved in a scandal with his baby mama.

Here are some Nigerian Artists who have been dragged into baby mama dramas.

Davido

Davido is a father of three (2 girls and a boy) and has in past times found himself in a drama involving Sophia, the mother of his first child, Imade.

It got to the point that Dele Momodu, the well-respected media icon who is Sophia’s uncle had to get involved.

In 2015, Sophie Momodu and her family filed a petition against Davido and his family for alleged child trafficking.

All of this led Davido to release a lengthy recount of his side of the story via his Instagram handle which has generated a lot of different views in the public domain.

Davido accused Sophie of breastfeeding their child while on drugs and said that while he and his family planned to take Imade abroad for a further check-up, Sophie and Dele Momodu filed a petition against him preventing them from taking the trip.

The two have however reconciled and are now co-parents to their beautiful daughter.

In 2017, Davido was involved in another baby drama issue with an Ibadan lady who he reportedly got pregnant in 2013, and he told her to keep the pregnancy. The source added that Davido even named the child Veronica.

The source said that after Davido “blocked” the lady’s access to her, her mother had to write to Davido’s father, demanding that a paternity test be carried out.

From the screenshots, a DNA test was initially conducted, the results excluded Davido as the father. However, the mum of the child claims the test was a dud/falsified and should be redone.

The source claimed that the doctor and Davido afterwards said the DNA test was not carried out.

Wizkid

Wizkid is the father of three children by three separate women, and we occasionally get a dose of baby mama drama from him.

His major Baby Mama Dramas comes from his first and second baby mamas, Shola Ogudu and Binta Diallo.

In March 2016 Miss Ogudu gave hints that all wasn’t well between both of them. She tweeted “I am sick and tired of keeping my keeping my mouth shut; covering the idiot’s irresponsibility and still get tons of insults from the same idiot”.

She then deleted the post, but by May 13, 2018 she took to her Twitter page to wish her son happy birthday.

She didn’t just wish him a happy birthday but also made it known that she has been the father and mother of the child she had with Wizkid. As if that wasn’t enough, she further released never seen before chat messages she had with the music star.

Sola further citing examples and shared screenshots of her chats, had talked about how Wizkid was always begged, forced by family members to pay for his child’s school fees.

Binta Diallo, on the other side, said in an interview with The Shade Room that Wizkid had refused to publicly recognise Ayodeji as his son and had also shown no interest in pitching to raise the boy.

Binta had released paperwork pertaining to her child custody arrangement with Wizkid on the internet by September 2018, explaining how he had failed to fulfil his half of the deal.

According to the agreement, Wizkid was meant to pay a monthly sum of $2000 for child support which according to Binta, he had refused to pay. She revealed that she had contacted his legal team and family members to reach out to him but her pleas fell on deaf ears.

She went on to reveal that she wanted to sue him but his family members had begged her to not sue the music star so that he wouldn’t have problems with immigration and for that reason, she didn’t sue him.

Binta would later put out a series of posts on social media calling Wizkid being a deadbeat father.

2Baba

Innocent Idibia, also known as 2baba, has suffered the most at the hands of baby mamas of all Nigerian celebrities. 2baba’s baby mother issues were fueled by his second and third baby mamas, Pero Adeniyi and Annie Idibia.

Their feud dates back to 2015 and 2016 when they both publicly chastised each other on social media. It’s no surprise that 2baba cried tears of joy when the two women ultimately reconciled.

In 2021, the two resumed their beef after Annie took to Instagram to publicly accused her husband and Pero of spending a night together.

Pero in an interview denied the allegations and also slammed Annie with a lawsuit.

Lyta

Lyta is the only one on this list with only one child and the latest member of the Baby Mama drama association. He and his estranged girlfriend, Kemi Ayorinde welcomed a baby boy in 2020.

In 2021, Kemi called out Lyta in a lengthy post on Instagram where she spilled the bean on her relationship with the singer.

According to Kemi, Lyta is a coward who couldn’t defend his son when he was harassed by his manager, Seyi.

Kemi also revealed how Seyi threatened to kill her and Lyta on Twitter. She also revealed that the singer couldn’t afford to pay money for party decoration for their child’s birthday and even alleged that the singer infected her with STDs.

Following the marriage controversy involving one of his baby mama, Pero Adeniyi, 2Baba has lashed out at a troll who wrote a harsh comment on their son’s Instagram page.

The troll had gone to Justin Idibia’s account and told him to inform his mum to quit being a “home wrecker.”

The troll wrote:

I was on the phone the other day and the person send me to tell you to advise you mon to stop being a homewrecker. I wonder why?

Pero shared a screenshot of the troll’s comment and pledged to track down the person who had abused her child and make them pay.

Reacting to this, 2Baba expressed displeasure over the comment, wondering why an adult would send such a message to a child.

The singer said such a message is unacceptable, and the troll has crossed a sacred line nobody has crossed, hence launching a search for the troll.

2baba urged anyone with helpful information about the troll to call his attention, and he must find the troll

The drama between Annie Idibia and Pero Adeniyi doesn’t seem to be ending anything soon as the latter slammed the former with a lawsuit.

Pero in her suit mentioned Annie’s Instagram outburst and the audiotape that went public weeks ago in the action, which was filed on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

According to the tape, Annie’s husband, 2Baba, “packed his bags and came to America to see her (Pero) and his other kids.”

Annie was also accused of engaging in “malicious and libellous online publication” that led to harassment and bullying of Pero and her children online.
