They collected them and took me to their office.”

He explained that after being taken away, he was kept in detention for several days, even though nothing incriminating was found on his devices. “They didn’t find anything on my phone. One of their oga asked if I pay tax, so they just held me for that. I spent four, five days in that cell,” he said.

According to the rapper, he was eventually released but not without a bitter aftertaste. He revealed that money was taken from him before he was let go, something that left him frustrated and helpless. “I feel like when I came out I should have sued them because they collected money from me before they released me for nothing, absolutely nothing,” he said.

However, Oladips admitted he decided against pursuing legal action due to the exhausting and costly nature of the process. “You know Nigeria – before I now sue them and start fighting for the money they collected from me, I’ll spend another money,” he added with a tone of resignation.

Contrary to this, Qdot, a fellow rapper and longstanding friend of Oladips, shared a video affirming the rapper’s existence, dispelling the earlier misinformation.

He further said Oladips would return online if his album reached the top of the music charts.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, January 16, he cautioned Nasty Blaq against using his past situation for financial gain after the skit maker made a parody version of the death saga.

Oladips said Nasty Blaq did not check on him when the news of his fake death spread even though they were neighbours but he was quick to shoot a skit about him.

He wrote:
