Tacha says Nicki Minaj is the ‘GOAT’ following her 12th Grammy snub
Nicki Minaj, the rapper from Barbados, has been named the greatest female rapper of all time by Tacha, the Nigerian reality TV personality despite her Grammy difficulties.
In the Best Song Written For Visual Media and Best Rap Song categories, Minaj was nominated twice for the 66th Grammy Awards—one for “Barbie World,” with Ice Spice. However, she was unsuccessful in both events.
Yet on Sunday night, the Grammy organizers “mistakenly” declared Nicki’s song “Barbie World” the winner of the Best Rap Song category. Later, they changed it to Killer Mike’s song “Scientists & Engineers” and Andre 3000’s song, which included Future and Eryn Allen Kane.
Fans of Nicki Minaj, who has 12 Grammy nominations in 20 years but no wins, were furious by the error.
Reacting to the continued snub, Tacha, who is a fan of Nicki Minaj, shared a picture of the ‘Anaconda’ crooner via her official Twitter handle with the caption: “Nicki Minaj still remains the GOAT.”
