Super Eagles boss, Eric Chelle, has unveiled his provisional squad list ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Chelle’s selection comes on the back of the Super Eagles B-team’s disappointing performance at CHAN 2024, prompting him to lean heavily on foreign-based stars. The squad will be reduced to 23 players before the qualifiers kick off.

The announcement has already stirred reactions among fans across social media, with debates raging over Chelle’s player choices and tactical approach.
