Most top entertainers don’t want those below to join them – Spyro
According to Nigerian musician David Oluwasanmi Oludipe, better known by his stage name Spyro, most influential people don’t want up-and-coming performers to work with them.
He thought back on the previous year, which was mainly successful for his music career, and published his remark on social media.
According to the “Who’s Your Guy” hitmaker, after a year at the top, he realized that most top performers detest it when someone rises through the ranks.
Spyro claimed that when they get to be major players, they even go so far as to fight their quick-ascent colleagues.
But he said that this year, as long as God continues to live, people in comparable circumstances will rise to the top and remain there.
The singer counseled upcoming artists to stand up for themselves as well.
Spyro wrote: “It’s been about a year on top and one major thing I have realised is that majority of the people at the top dont want the ones below to join them and let me shock you, most of them hate it when you break free to move up so they fight you even when you get there, but I have come to declare to someone today .. AS GOD LIVES, YOU WILL MOVE UP AND STAY UP THIS YEAR A but you sef fight o ,NO GREE FOR ANYBODY WEY NO GREE FOR YOU.”
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
(Matt 11:12 ) This is the year for fighters … if you can pursue ,YOU WILL OVERTAKE 🙏🏿 #NoGreeForAnybodyWeyNoGreeForYou,” he added.
