Spyro Hails Fiancée Janet Atom for Transforming His Life with Financial Wisdom
Nigerian Afropop star Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has showered praise on his bride-to-be, Janet Atom, crediting her with reshaping his outlook on money and life.
The Who’s Your Guy hitmaker took to Instagram on Sunday to narrate how Janet’s practical advice has not only saved him from impulsive spending but also made him “richer.”
“Everything changed when I met her. I remember planning for a car and I wanted a cyber truck so badly and I told her I am going to the car lot for a cyber truck and while I kept talking about where to park the car and the color she said, ‘we do not need a cyber truck, have you thought of the cost of maintenance? Why not invest the money in real estate?’ I smiled, and immediately I was reassured that I bagged a real one, and I am richer for it,” Spyro shared.
He further recounted how Janet’s preference for investing over luxury extends to air travel.
“Or is it how she never allow me get her Business class tickets anytime we are flying, she will say ‘Give me the money, let me put it in my business’ 🤣 so on all our flights I have to leave my business class seat to exchange with the person sitting beside her in economy 😁 TRULY A WIFE MATERIAL.”
Spyro, 35, had only days earlier revealed that he is officially engaged, posting romantic photos from his proposal to Janet. In that announcement, he detailed how their love story began in a Lagos club in March 2024, describing her as the answer to his prayers.
With back-to-back posts celebrating his partner, it’s clear that Spyro is not only basking in love but also deeply inspired by Janet’s values as they prepare for married life.
