Spyro Celebrates Davido and Chioma’s Miami Wedding with Heartfelt Tribute
Nigerian singer Spyro has added his voice to the wave of goodwill messages congratulating Afrobeats icon Davido and his wife, Chioma, after their glamorous white wedding in Miami on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
In an emotional post on social media, the Who Is Your Guy hitmaker lauded Davido for his loyalty and unwavering support, revealing their friendship dates back to long before his rise to fame.
“I don’t have a lot of friends in the industry, but you, @davido, have stuck with me way before fame, so e pain me say na video I just de watch all through cos you really deserve the best, brother,” Spyro wrote.
Sharing a cherished memory, Spyro recalled the first time he met Chioma at Davido’s home while inviting the singer to a show at Hard Rock Café. He revealed that Chioma’s photos were already displayed on Davido’s walls at the time a testament to the public affection Davido has shown for her since the early days of their relationship.
“Now, several years down the line, you guys are married,” he reflected warmly.
Though the pair have yet to collaborate on a track, Spyro has consistently expressed admiration for Davido’s artistry and influence, crediting him with offering encouragement and guidance during his formative years in the industry.
