Darlington Okoye, a Nigerian rapper better known by his stage name Speed Darlington, recently made headlines online by revealing the target audience for his songs.
The rapper said in a recent interview with Wazobia Nedu’s Honest-Bunch podcasts that he does not write songs for the underprivileged.
Speed Darlington continued by saying that Audiomack, a music streaming service, is just for the impoverished and that his fans cannot discover his tracks there.
In his words, “I don’t m*ss with Audiomack. Audiomack is for poor people. My music is not for the poor. If you no get money, you can’t have my song.”
