On January 23, 2025, the ‘Bangdadang’ crooner posted a video of two bulls fighting, captioning it, “I am back!” In the video, he explained the metaphor, saying, “Two bulls fighting. One steps back. It’s not running away. It went back to gather energy and launch back with banger.”

This enigmatic declaration hints at Speed Darlington’s readiness to make a bold comeback, both musically and legally.

In a follow-up post, he expressed gratitude to legal practitioner Mazi David Ihuoma Esq., indicating plans for an upcoming legal battle. The singer revealed his intention to seek ₦300 million in damages, alleging a violation of his human rights.

He stated: “Thank you 🙏🏿 Mazi David Ihuoma Esq. We going all the way! They must pay me for violating my human right 300 million naira. We will drag them more than Stanley and I dragged that bank that violated me two years ago.”

This development follows Speed Darlington’s release from Kuje Prison after nearly two months of detention. He was granted bail of ₦20 million on January 17, 2025, by a federal high court in Abuja.

His lawyer, Stan Alieke, confirmed his release via Instagram, sharing photos and announcing their plans to sue the Nigerian police over what they described as “illegal incarceration.”

Speed Darlington had been re-arrested on November 27, 2024, during a performance in Owerri, Imo State. The arrest stemmed from allegations of cyberstalking Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy, an accusation that has fueled his ongoing legal battles.

Known for his controversial persona and bold statements, Speed Darlington’s latest moves suggest he’s gearing up for a significant comeback. Whether musically, legally, or both, his return promises to be as dramatic as ever. Fans are eagerly watching to see what the self-proclaimed energy god has in store next.
