Soso Soberekon takes Harrysong to court for accusing him of assassination attempt.
Soso Soberekon has commenced a lawsuit against musician, Harrison Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, over accusations made that he attempted to kill him in Port Harcourt.
During an appearance on the Frankly Speaking podcast, which comedian Nedu Wazobia and Harrysong co-host, Harrysong made the accusation.
In the interview, the former Five Star Music performer bemoaned the absence of true friendships in the music business. He claimed that the majority of those who consider themselves to be his friends are actually out to get him.
Harrysong called out Skiibii and Kcee, adding that the group is not his friends as many people believe, in addition to saying that Soberekan recruited assassins to kill him.
He said; “90% of all the friendships are fake. There are people I’ve been working with for years. If you call their names you go say na Harry guy be this. Dem no be my guy.
“As a matter of fact, those are my real enemies. If you see Soso now, you’ll say Soso is my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcourt, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone.”
When asked if he had proof Harrysong said, “I have evidence, I have videos, I have pictures.
“This is no joke. You’ll say he is my friend, he’s not my friend. He wants to kill me.”

In reaction to the allegation, Soso Soberekon demanded that he retracts the statement and tender an apology.
In a suit filed by his legal representatives, the talent manager also requested the sum of N500 million for damages such claims caused to his reputation.
Sharing the lawsuit notice on his Instagram story, Soso wrote; ”As a matter of fact, I always mind my business, stay on my lane and put smiles on people’s faces. It is very disappointing that Harrysong will make such a false, reckless and defamatory statement.”
