Lagos socialite Sophia Egbueje is celebrating a major milestone as she finally takes delivery of her Lamborghini, despite being at the center of an ongoing controversy involving Afrobeats star Burna Boy
The drama began when leaked audio surfaced, in which Sophia accused Burna Boy of failing to fulfill a promise to buy her a Lamborghini in exchange for a romantic relationship. Burna Boy, however, responded with apparent mockery, further fueling the controversy.
In an unexpected twist, Sophia has now acquired the luxury car herself.
A video posted on Snapchat captures the moment a white Lamborghini is driven down a ramp, with an excited Sophia in the background. A voice in the clip playfully refers to her as “Lamborghini girl.”
She captioned the post, “My baby is here. As dem no buy am, I buy am 🤭,” making it clear she took matters into her own hands.

Recall, Burna Boy responded to the controversy surrounding socialite Sophia Egbueje’s claims that he failed to buy her a Lamborghini truck despite an alleged promise.
