The Baddest Boy crooner claimed on his official Twitter page that he had encountered the Afrobeat pioneer in his dream.
Skiibii did not stop there; he continued, saying that after he and Fela had a lengthy conversation in the dream, everything made sense to him.
Fela Anikulapo Kuti is widely considered the pioneer of the Nigerian music genre Afrobeat. The legend popularised music on a global scale. He protests against social injustice by using his musical rhythm.
Skiibii released his first and newest song of the year 2023, ‘Back to Sender,’ in the style of Fela Kuti. The performer displayed the spectacular entrance of the song by dressing retro.
