The song ‘Abracadabra’s’ original owner is revealed by Skiibii.
Popular Nigerian musician Abbey Elias, well known as Skiibii has revealed the original owner of the buzzing song ‘Abracadabra.’
According to Skiibii, he originally owned the song “Abracadabra,” but he gave it to Rexxie.
On Adesope’s The Afrobeats Podcast, where he also discussed other topics such as how he manages his money, Skiibii made this initial disclosure.
Late in 2022, Skiibii and Naira Marley were featured on the hit song “Abracadabra,” which was produced by famed Nigerian Grammy-winning musician Rexxie. Wizkid was eventually featured on the remix.
Contrary to popular belief, Rexxie was not the creator of “Abracadabra.” Skiibii composed the song and only offered it to Rexxie after the latter asked for it.
Skiibii claimed he had finished recording the song before sending it to Rexxie for review, but Naira Marley heard it and jumped on it. He was about to release it after that, but Rexxie asked him to leave it for him.
He also stated that he did not charge Rexxie for the song because Rexxie was a dear buddy of his.
